What is RDL Network?
RDL Network is a free academic social network where researchers manage their profile, publications, citations and collaborations in one place.
Who can use it?
Researchers, graduate students, university faculty and research-centre staff can create a free account.
Is it really free?
Yes — free for individual researchers, no ads, no data sales.
Which languages are supported?
The UI is available in Turkish and English. You can publish your content in any language.
Account & Profile
How do I sign up?
Click “Get started” in the top right, register with your email or institutional SSO, then verify your email and complete your profile.
How do I link ORCID?
Go to Profile > Settings > ORCID, enter your ID and click Link. Publications and citations will sync automatically.
How is institutional verification done?
Verify with your university email (e.g. @itu.edu.tr) and an institutional badge appears on your profile.
Can I delete my account?
Yes — Settings > Privacy > Delete account. Per KVKK/GDPR your personal data is fully erased within 30 days.
Publications & CV
How do I add my publications?
Either add them manually or auto-import from ORCID / CrossRef / OpenAlex.
How do I build and export my CV?
Use the CV Builder, select sections, then “Download as PDF” to get a professional CV in minutes.
Where do I see my citation count?
Citation counts appear next to each publication on your profile; click “Citation graph” for details.
Privacy & Security
Is my data safe?
All data is encrypted (TLS in-transit, AES-256 at-rest). We use Keycloak-based authentication and role-based authorization.
Do you share data with third parties?
No — apart from the openly published academic profile, nothing personal is shared without your consent.
Are you KVKK / GDPR compliant?
Yes — all data processing follows KVKK and GDPR principles; your data-subject rights are honoured.
